A mysterious deep gold stillness slanting through and under the branches seemed to be saying slowly again and again something one cannot quite hear, however much one tried. The immense calmness of the dark blue at night with the millions of stars waiting and watching over, created a dreamy atmosphere in the secret garden I found myself in, a night on the way back from the city.
